CHEMICAL PEELS
There are many types of chemical peels out there. The most important information you need to know is the type of chemical used for the peeling effect. Skin care spas are only allowed to use low levels of Jessner or Glycolic. They are very effective for light exfoliation. However, true Medical Skin Care Clinics, such as mine, use medical grade chemical peels and should only be done with the supervision of a medial doctor, because the of stronger ingredients used. NEWS
- The Fall Season is in full swing. As the weather cools down the heaters get turned on. What does all this mean to our skin? Dehydration, dryness, break outs and roughness. It's time to get your skin balanced with a deep cleansing.
- Skin Cancer Foundation recognizes NIA24's Pro-Niacin Molecule. NIA 24 products work to reduce and prevent sun damage. Finally a product that results can be seen after a short time of using it. You can buy it in my office.
- We will be open one Saturday a month for laser treatments. In December we will be open for two Saturdays - December 3rd and 17th from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
- The state of California bans tanning beds for those 18 and under. Why? people ask. Well as some of you know we pick up the majority of sun damage as young children. The skin talorates much of the abuse we put it through, but sooner or later the damage is facing you in the mirror. Some say that tanning beds are a great way to get vitamin D! Well at a very high price that will be paid down the road.
